Payments & Refunds
A refund is processed differently than a charge to your account and may take 3-5 days to be posted by your bank after it is processed by our team.
How refunds can be received:
Refunds are processed to the original form of payment, except in the following circumstances:
- ATM and Debit card purchases may receive cash refunds in-store only.
- Credit Card refunds may only be credited to the original credit card. If the original credit card is not an option, a gift card will be provided.
- PayPal purchases returned in-store can only be refunded by gift card. For a refund to your PayPal account, please mail your order to the Returns Center. Instructions for mail in returns can be found HERE.
- In-store purchases mailed to the returns center can only be refunded by gift card. If you would like credit in the original form of payment you must bring your return to a Zumiez store.
- Gift card refunds greater than $10 can only be refunded by gift card.
We always do our best to have the most accurate inventory counts possible, but sometimes things sell fast and we have to cancel your order. We will always let you know as soon as possible when this happens.
You are never charged for an order until it actually ships. What you may be seeing on your account is an authorization hold (pending charge), which is held by your bank when the order is placed. The amount of this hold with drop off within a few days, depending on your financial institution’s policies. You will not see a credit on your account, only the authorization disappearing.
Essentially it will be as if you never bought the item at all.
We accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Apple Pay and PayPal, POD.
Your account is not charged for your purchase until we ship your order.
When your order is placed we will contact your bank for authorization to approve the purchase. When that authorization is provided, your bank will place a hold on those funds in the form of a temporary transaction called an “authorization hold” or “pending transaction”. These holds are applied by your bank and subject to their policies.
When your order is shipped, we will process the actual charge to your account, also called a “settlement” or “funds capture”. If your order is shipped in multiple packages, there will be a separate charge for each package. The total of all charges will not exceed the amount of the original transaction.
Orders from Da Bomb Apparel Co. are sometimes shipped from multiple locations. We only charge when we ship, so there is a separate charge for each shipment.
When you first place your order with dabombapparel.com you will see an authorization hold on your payment account for the amount of the purchase, or “pending transaction”. This is a temporary hold placed by your bank to allow us time to collect on your order.
When we ship your order, we send the message to your bank that we’d like to collect on that transaction and the funds are paid to Da Bomb Apparel Co.
Depending on how your bank processes and displays these transactions, it’s possible both the authorization hold and the actual charges will appear at the same time. Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank to process everything completely. The total of all the individual transactions will not exceed the amount of the original authorization.

Why was my order put in order verification?
Need to verify some information? Don’t worry! This is for your safety. We care about protection- both for your information, and your money. This may mean we flag orders if some details aren’t matching up.
All we attempt to do with this process is confirm it is YOU placing the order. We contact the cardholder, and confirm details from a secure email. These details may vary in nature, but simply reply to our email with the requested information, and our verification team will review it ASAP.
My card has been used without my authorization. What should I do?
In the unlikely event that your card information has been compromised, and it was used to purchase from our website or stores, report the incident immediately to your card provider or financial institution.
After you have reached out to your financial institution, you may contact us, so we can notify our fraud department in an effort to prevent future issues. We are not able to provide any information regarding the fraudulent transaction(s).
Sales tax will display TBD until you enter zip code.
We are required to charge state sales tax on orders shipped to individual states.
Additionally, some states charge sales tax on shipping and handling, while others charge sales tax only on merchandise. We are required to follow the rules of each state, and the tax on your order reflects those rules.
Duties and taxes will be applied to order shipped to U.S. Territories. You can view those policies here.
No sales tax is charged on gift certificates. The appropriate sales tax will be charged on the purchase when and where the gift certificate is redeemed.
I double checked my address, but I’m still getting an error
This may be a result of a few different things like, new developments, rural areas, or typos. If you edit your address and still receive an error, we recommend you double check the address and then proceed with selecting “Use Address As Entered”.
International Orders
When shipping outside of the US, our systems may not be able to verify addresses that are formatted how they normally are in some other countries. This may trigger an error. Please be sure to double check that your address is entered just as it is on any other mail you receive and select “Use Address As Entered”.
Orders going to Puerto Rico
If you are shipping to Puerto Rico, you may run into our address validation system saying that your address cannot be verified. We recommend you double check that the address is entered correct, that United States is selected as the Country, Puerto Rico is selected as State, and then select “Use Address As Entered”. If you are shipping to a Military address, you may run into our address validation system saying that your address cannot be verified. We recommend you double check that the address is entered correct, be sure that United States is selected as country, that your Armed Forces region is selected as State, and then select “Use Address As Entered”.
